MHA CEO Dr. Rahul Koranne was recently published in the Rochester Post Bulletin on the importance of telehealth.
“This week, the Drug Enforcement Agency and HHS extended the ability for providers to prescribe controlled substances through the end of 2025. But the law that allows expanded use of telemedicine between providers and Medicare patients is about to end. It expires at the end of 2024.”
“We need Congress to support telemedicine and give it the time to mature and find new uses…not to let partisanship squander the years of innovation, investment, and improvements this technology has brought to all of us.”
